I'm back at my apartment now, and am very busy listening to chapels to catch up with where I ought to be! Woo!
They're pretty good, but it's tough to get them this concentrated. So far I've only listened to a few, and it's going to take much longer than I would like it to take. Oh well!
And this after taking 4 hours to go to the airport to try and pick someone (cough... phil!) from the airport only to not be able to find him and wander around and around the pick up area at LAX with a beautiful girl. (the beautiful girl part was actually quite a plus, I'll admit, but the whole airport experience I'll have to pass on from now on.)
Airports are nice, they're big, and they're flat, and airplanes come in and out of them.
Also nice is dancing in the rain, something I did for the first time ever last night. Lucky for me to find a pretty girl to do it with! It wasn't raining very hard, though, which was nice, because it was pretty warm outside.
Speaking of it being warm outside, just got back from the Sierras. It was colder up there, at 9,000 snowy feet. Very beautiful, of course, it was all I expected to be and a real treat to be able to go there. I love those mountains, a lot. As we drove home, the giant ridge of mountains lining the road had a blanket of cloud spilling over the passes and peaks. Mount Whitney was entirely obscured by cloud, but mountains like Williamson were islands in the giant rolling snowy wave breaking into the Owens Valley.
But now it's time for school to start again, and so I"m here! With a fast internet connection!
