No posts since Monday because I have nothing interesting to say.

I finished that fragment of Hyperion today by Keats. It was awesome. It looks like Keats was setting up a conflict between Apollo and Hyperion, the old and new sun gods, but there isn't enough to really get a glimpse of where he was going. Instead there are well written scenes where gods fallen from glory reside together in brokenness. The poem ends with Apollo on an island going through some sort of inner conflict that's manifesting itself in glory and spasms. I wish that Keats would have gotten a lot more done than he had.

It's inspiring me to read Paradise Lost again. Not really time, though.
