Another Monday Not-Birding Post

I should probably post. Otherwise, it is possible that a very very long time will pass, without any posting getting done. And that is just unaccceptable!

I am no longer a neandrathal. I finished Pride and Prejudice last week. I am also, unfortunately, unable to sneer at it as boring. It's not, actually. I repent! And I eat my hat! And now Libby has to go and see the movie with me, or I shall burst!

Great book. The girls are incredibly marriage-crazy, though. Wow! Also, what a life to live, to be so amazingly and incredibly wealthy! The minimum expectation for the people in that book is that you are independently wealthy. Which is a pretty freaking high expectation.

America and the American life-style (work hard for what you get, by gum!) is better, I think. Not that I would mind being independently wealthy, of course.

Do you like how I read the book and am only commenting on its surface features?

Me, too.

We've begun moving Libby's stuff into the apartment (our apartment, though she does not yet live there)(Because we're not married yet!). On Friday we went to the Old Orange County courthouse to get our marriage license. It's a lot further than Norwalk for Biola couples, but I would recommend it because it's actually beautiful, and if you go upstairs there's an old courtroom preserved that you can pretend you're a judge in. Also: in Orange County you don't have to wait to get an hour to get your certificate, they give it to you right away!

Libby and I decided not to pay the extra $28 to get married right there right then. It seemed a little costy. (ha ha!)

Um... Oh... Libby now can totally use my bank account, making it our bank account. Can I refer to our bank account as my bank account? Assuming of course, that she can refer to our bank account as "my" bank account (from her perspective)? It seems fair, sort of, but that "our" will be lonely.

Um...

Five Days!

That is all.
