Abortion and the Election

This is a disturbing article about Senator Obama's record and beliefs on abortion issues. Suffice to say, he favors no legal protection at all for unborn persons.

Public Discourse - Roger George on "Obama's Abortion Extremism."

Although I'm not a big fan of McCain, I could never in good conscience vote for someone with this record to be president. It's pretty depressing considering it looks like he's going to win the election.

Yeah, Obama is a disturbing fellow on many fronts, especially since he also comes across as so appealing. An appealing, winsome villain is so much more sinister than a villainous villain.

I assume you've heard about the whole Ayers thing?

That sort of thing doesn't impress me very much, but I'm open to being wrong. Ayers definitely sounds like the kind of shady guy you don't want to have anything to do with, but Obama doesn't sound like he shares that kind of belief.

Ultimately, why should I believe Obama as president will reflect Ayers as he would be if he was president?
