Here's a picture taken after the heavy October snows that swept over the Sierras. It's incredibly white. Not only that, but the snow has outlined the long valley caldera, right around Crowley Lake. I think you can see Lake Mary, but I'm not sure exactly, it's a fairly distant satellite image in real color. You can see Edison and Mono, though. Mono is a peculiar shade of green, and stands out from the rest of the visible lakes because of its color.

It is quite high resolution.
