There's a lady who drives a silver Buick with the license plate "Genius 7" on the 5 South every morning. I actually don't see her every day. But probably at least 2 or 3 times a week since September, I've driven down Beach right next to her (or behind her) and we've gotten on the 5 together. Sometimes, I meet up with her even before I get to Beach. One day, when I was waiting to turn right onto Santa Gertrudes from Adelfa, she drove right past me, and when I made the turn, I got just behind her. This morning, she stopped by the Post Office on Adelfa and as she left, she pulled out just a little in front of me. Yesterday, for the first time, I saw her on the 5 North on my way home. It made me really happy. Yay! It's Genuis 7!
If you have to commute everyday 35-50 minutes each way, it's nice to have a friend.
I don't think Genius 7 even knows I exist. Sigh.
